Recommendations to Parents and Guardians

RECOMMENDATION TO PARENTS/ GUARDIANS

  • Parents are expected to co-operate with the school authorities and the teachers by enforcing regularity and discipline, supervising the lessons, taking active part in the school and by sending their child with proper uniform to school.
  • Parents are informed that occasional reports from teachers are made in the diary/work books. They should check diary/ work books and sig the reports if any.
  • Do not send your sickly child / ward to the school. If a pupil is likely to be a absent through illness for a long period, the Principal must be informed immediately through an application with the name, class and section of their ward with doctor's medical advise and the fitness certificate to be submitted, when your child/wards joins the school.
  • Parents/Guardians are specially requested to notify the school it any change in their address/telephone/contact, phone number(s).
  • Parents / Guardians, their servant or other persons are not permitted to enter the class rooms to see their children or interview their teachers without the permission of the Principal. The Principal may permit them, in matters of urgency, to see the teachers in their free periods. Lengthy discussions should be set apart for the parent — teacher meetings.
  • Servants of the parents are not permitted to remain in the school during school hours.
  • Parents /Guardians are requested to send their wards to school in full uniform, clean and tidy and on time.
  • To ensure integrity and dedication of the member of the staff, the following are the guidelines to the staff/ parents / guardians with regard to private tuitions:
    i) no members of staff of this school may undertake a tuition without the prior sanction of thePrincipal

ii) No staff member of this institution is permitted to visit the homes of children, to give tuition, to discuss the progress of the child or even suggest private tuition.
  • Criticism of the teachers of the school in the presence of children, should he avoided because it causes them to loose respect to those teachers and subsequent failure to learn from those teachers. Should a parent have a genuine complaint then it may be brought to thenoticeofthePrincipal.
  • Parents are exhorted not to listen to unwarranted gossips and spread the same as it causes untold damage to the institution. Let us remember that to build an institution requires many years of efforts but to destroy, it does not take much time.
  • Parents should always keep in mind that the school, its teachers and the parents are linked together in a continuous process for the education of child. Even in difficult situations calm and gentleness should be displayed so that the atmosphere is cordial, realizing that the net result of recriminations fall ultimately on the child. If the relation with the school is not cordial, it is advisable for parents to shift their children to other institution of their choice.
